WEBB Squared empowers BIPOC entrepreneurs through tailored coaching and training for equitable economic development.

Our History

WEBB Squared, founded in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to address the economic challenges faced by Black and Brown entrepreneurs, particularly in rural North Carolina.
The organization recognizes the persistent wealth gap and
barriers to entrepreneurship for people of color, including limited access to credit, markets, education, and social capital. These obstacles stem from
centuries of discrimination and continue to widen racial wealth and income disparities.

 

WEBB Squared's mission is to promote racial economic justice by providing programs that create pathways to economic opportunity for entrepreneurs of color. The organization focuses on leveraging the creativity, skills, resourcefulness, and resilience of these entrepreneurs to help them build profitable and sustainable businesses, despite the systemic challenges they face.
