Welcome to Monday Mindset!

As we embark on a new week, it’s an opportunity for a fresh start and perhaps a new perspective. Last week, during a morning walk, I had a realization: I was so consumed by my thoughts, to-do lists, and worries about the future that I wasn’t fully present in the moment. I was missing out on the beauty of nature surrounding me – the birds flying by and the water sparkling on the pond – and failing to give myself the chance to simply breathe and relax.

At WEBB Squared, our team regularly engages in mindset check-ins. We reflect on how we’re feeling, what challenges we’re facing, and where we find inspiration. We examine the energy we bring to our work and our mission, and consider what mindset shifts we need to approach the week with positivity and hopefulness. We also explore any scarcity mindsets we may be holding onto, and focus on shifting towards an abundance mindset.

Inspired by these team practices, we’re extending our Monday Mindset check-ins to you— the entrepreneurs we’re mentoring and coaching. Each week, we’ll be sharing a brief blog and email to encourage you to pause amidst the hustle and bustle of your business endeavors. Whether you’re tackling your to-do list, reaching out to clients, or battling anxiety and stress, we invite you to join us in taking a moment to breathe, consciously choosing presence, and embracing the expertise and skills that empower us to live out our mission.

Before diving into your tasks this morning, take a moment to breathe with us. Close your eyes for 30 seconds, a minute, or even five. Allow yourself to relax and tune in to where you may be feeling stuck—both in your mind and body.

Know that you’re not alone—our team at WEBB Squared is here to support you. Feel free to share what you need; we’re here to help.

Now, for our tip of the week: Consider using a simple worksheet to clarify your goals for the week and outline 3-4 actionable steps to achieve them. Remember, multitasking is a myth. Trying to juggle everything simultaneously is not only impossible but also increases stress. Instead, focus on doing one thing at a time, giving each task your full attention. This approach helps maintain your composure and enhances productivity.

If your week is filled with numerous tasks, utilize this worksheet to create a prioritized to-do list. By starting with smaller tasks, you’ll build momentum to tackle larger ones effectively.

Wishing you a fantastic week ahead! Don’t hesitate to reach out to Stephanie or me at WEBB if you need assistance with business matters or mindset challenges.

Until next week!
