Who we are
WEBB Squared “Wealth through Entrepreneurship for Black and Brown Businesses” is an
incubator-accelerator focused on supporting entrepreneurs in and around Chatham County, NC.
WEBB aims to foster economic inclusivity and diversity by providing tailored coaching,
innovative training, and resources to help businesses overcome challenges and thrive.
WHAT WE DO
WEBB coaches help entrepreneurs find solutions to challenges as they build and grow their businesses such as business plans, building a budget, and a brand, with marketing, pitches, and more.
WEBB’s Mindset Initiative combines email, blog, and podcast discussions on topics crucial to WEBB Entrepreneurs. This initiative is dedicated to shifting mindsets and empowering entrepreneurs to face challenges head-on.
THE CHATHAM INNOVATION LAB
The Chatham County Innovation Lab is an innovative partnership, launched with a seed grant from Chatham County. The lab brings together key business development organizations
from government, higher education, and businesses who share our mission of racial economic equity.

The Artist as Entrepreneur – an Interview with Rob Santos – Comedian
Last week, I had the privilege to chat with a very special friend, comedian Rob Santos. the best comedian he could be, his daughter (who is way more dope than he is) decided to show up and change his life for the better. Due to the shift of that amazing life event, in 2012, he moved back to Hartford to excel as a man as well as a stand up comedian and is widely known as Connecticut’s Dave Chappelle due to his raw, honest, and insightful brand of humor.
Dance, Praise, Care and Organize: Meet Joshua Weaver, a WEBB Squared Entrepreneur
This past Sunday, I attended a talent show hosted by The Plant – there was music, storytelling, dance, ballet, poetry, and comedy. At the end of the show, a young man, Joshua Weaver closed out the program with a “praise dance” – and his dance was phenomenal.
A couple days ago, I sat down with Joshua to hear his story. Along with dancing, Joshua is an entrepreneur. I wanted to hear more about his life, his work, and his passions. I thought he’d be an excellent subject for our new WEBB Squared blog series on Black entrepreneurs in North Carolina.
